My first book, The Amazing Bird Collection of Young Mr. Roosevelt, tells of an asthmatic little boy who grew up to become an extraordinary adult, largely through independent learning. Theodore Roosevelt was himself a prolific writer and lover of history, as well as President of the United States and many other things. I hope that in reading my blog you will also absorb an excitement for history, reading, writing, and nature, and that you’ll wonder about and investigate other things that interest you.
